Descrizione
EOS R5 è la fotocamera mirrorless full frame di punta di Canon nel 2020. È dotata di un nuovissimo sensore CMOS da 45 MP sviluppato da Canon con stabilizzazione dell'immagine interna che può ridurre le vibrazioni fino a 8 stop. La fotocamera utilizza il sistema Dual Pixel AF II, che dispone di 1053 punti AF sull'intero fotogramma. L'avanzato sistema di messa a fuoco automatica utilizza il Deep Learning per tracciare sia le persone che gli animali. La R5 è in grado di scattare raffiche a 20 fps con il suo otturatore elettronico e 12 fps con l'otturatore meccanico, entrambi con AF continuo.
L'R5 può girare video 8K a 30p e 24p, salvati come filmati Raw o H.265. È anche in grado di acquisire filmati 4K sovracampionati fino a 120p. Sono supportati C-Log e HDR PQ.
L'R5 in stile SLR ha una struttura solida ed è resistente alle intemperie. Il suo mirino elettronico OLED ha 5,76 milioni di punti e un ingrandimento di 0,76x. Il suo LCD completamente articolato ha 2,1 milioni di punti ed è sensibile al tocco. La fotocamera dispone anche di due slot per schede di memoria: uno per SD, un altro per CFexpress. Offre Wi-Fi dual-band con supporto per il trasferimento FTP in tempo reale.
