Blackview BV4900 Rugged Phone Dual Sim 32GB Yellow (3GB RAM)

I bought one of these and loved it then bongo no Internet no nothing. This is suppose to be 4G phone and compatible 4G network . But it does not work. I am very pissed off. As l am only on a pension and had to buy a new phone then to find out after this was advertised as a 4 G phone that l cannot now use it. How many other people have been sucked in this way. I am not happy at all.

The phone is fast enough and does well with games and web browsing. Calls are good quality. Everything seems to work as it should apart from terrible audio in videos it records. One important feature to note about this phone is the video recording. We bought two of these phones, same model, same colour. We went to a concert the other night and recorded some songs on those two phones plus someone in the group recorded on a different brand. Both Blackview phones failed to record loud music, with a clunking sound overriding the music, making the videos unusable. The other brand phone recorded perfectly. So this is definitely an issue with the blackview oscal. If you want it just for calls and browsing etc its a good phone. If you want to take pictures or videos, do not get this phone.

Ordered the model with Green trimmings indicated as in stock but was out of stock. was offered the black or Orange trimming. Took the Orange trimming one. Item shipment was delayed 1 week. Product wise, its an impressive handset.

So far so good! The screen is clear and crisp, no bugs so far apart from a couple of apps crashing (which seems to have been resolved) the sound is pretty good though on some tiktok videos it sounds like one side of the speakers are working (left or right) must be setting on tt not fault of the product and otherwise sound is pretty good. I am not fully used all the features yet and have not needed to charge it despite using it for 3 days now to play games and watch tt for around 1 hour a day. Battery on 74% from full. Overall its a heavy and attractive design, the strap on the back is great for holding it without smudging the screen and the stylus that comes with it is very good. This product is almost a kilo heavy, so keep that in mind. In my case it is exactly what we wanted, a heavy, sturdy device that is different from all the other commercial models. It offers option for sim card, so I am getting a second SIM to use this device on the go. overall really happy with it and will look into the blackview mobile range next!

My third BV9800. Previous two were from other vendors. Best specs for the proce tag. Quite durable. Second phone's touchscreen started getting wonky and fingerprint scanner stopped working after one year but that's with usage under the rain and frequent drops. Considered durable.
